Firm Update:

Richmond County, Staten Island NY Delay

Dateline: January, 2005

Alert:

Please be advised that on January 14, 2005 we learned that, for the near future at least, there will be a delay in the Richmond County Supreme Court, State of New York, of about three to four months. This delay will effect pleadings that are forwarded to a Judge, such as, but not limited to: Orders of Reference; Judgments of Foreclosure and Sale and Orders of Publication. This delay will not effect the filing of our Foreclosure Complaints or Lis Pendens. Our office will monitor this situation, in Richmond County, Staten Island, New York, and keep you appraised of same.   We hope you will understand that this issue is something over which our office does not have control.
