Top 50 Women in Business

We are delighted to announce that Shareholder Deirdre R. Wheatley-Liss, Esq., has been named one of New Jersey's Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, New Jersey's premiere business magazine.  The Best 50 Women in Business awards program recognizes New Jersey's most dynamic and distinguished women in business today.  Deirdre and her counterparts will be honored on March 30, 2009 during an awards ceremony at The Palace in Somerset, NJ, and will be featured in a special supplement to NJBIZ in April of 2009.

In recent years Deirdre has focused her efforts in supporting women professionals, either business owners or decision makers within their company.  In concert with this, FSKS has developed a "legal consultant" program targeted at all business clients looking to reinforce the underlying infrastructure of their business on a fixed fee basis.  After all, you can't build a house on a shaky or missing foundation.  The aim of our "legal consultant" program is to put a growing business in a position to reach their goals in a cost effective manner by educating the decision makers about the implications of the various legal obligations inherent to operating a business - leases, employees, financing, partnerships, customer contracts, vendor relationships, account receivable collections, etc.

Deirdre's place in the business community is also reflected in her recent appointment to the Board of Directors of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.  Deirdre's decision to volunteer her time and effort to support and improve the quality of the business community in Morris County underscores FSKS's commitment to be "Your Local Business Attorneys".

While FSKS provides legal services to clients throughout the Garden State, we are proud to be part of the fabric of Morris County.  Local businesses look to us when starting or growing a company.  We want our clients to say that we act outside the box, thinking creatively to manage and take advantage of changing economics.

You can help us meet our commitment by letting us know how a law firm can support local business in today's turbulent times.  We welcome emails of your thoughts and suggestions.
