Mortgage Electronic Registration Service Inc. v. Croakley - The Firm
obtained authority to foreclose in the name of MERS (Mortgage Electronic
Registration Service). There have been numerous standing issues as to whether
a party could foreclose in the name of MERS. This ruling gives MERS better
standing to prosecute its claims in New York State. |
